Art Award 2020 „MINIATUREN“ (sculpture and object)
(English version - download PDF - see menu bar)
In 2020, the gallery ARTLETstudio offers an Art Award for miniatures in the field of sculpture and object. As a gallery for contemporary and modern art, we would like to support artists who work on the theme of „Sculpture in Small Format“, both classically and innovatively. The presentation at the Art & Antik fair in Münster e.g. and an exhibition in our gallery rooms will offer an interesting platform for the selected artists.
The competition will be put out to tender internationally. Artists from the age of 18 are invited.
The artists can apply with up to three works. The works must be originals and must not yet have been awarded a prize. Miniatures from the fields of sculpture and object not older than three years can be submitted. They must not exceed a dimension of 20 cm in any direction.
The submitted works of the nominated artists will be exhibited by the ARTLETstudio at the ART & ANTIK fair in Münster from February 26 until March 1, 2020. From March 14 until April 25, 2020 an exhibition of the miniatures will take place in the gallery rooms of the ARTLETstudio in Münster. We will also publish a catalogue.
First of all, the application has to be made digitally by means of photos and a written application. Since August 7, 2019, the conditions and forms are available at https://artlet-studio.com/artletter/kunstpreis.html.
Applications are accepted until November 15, 2019.
The jurors cover a wide range of artistic preferences, so that you can assume that you will receive a qualified opinion.
In addition, further sponsors from networks, the press and specialist companies (e. g. art foundries) etc. are to be involved.
The gallery is looking forward to an active participation and is already planning a similar invitation to tender on the theme of „Painting in Small Format“ in the forthcoming year.
